gas fireplace insert installation
This early 1900s colonial home had been recently purchased by a young couple who had moved to the suburbs from Boston. The house was going through significant renovations that turned an out of date design into a modern, cozy retreat while maintaining some of the classic design components that made this house a classic. The thought of using the fireplace as a wood burning system was not what these busy homeowners had in mind. We worked together to help find this couple the right fireplace, the right size, and on budget to fit this fireplace. This particular fireplace was extremely shallow. Without significant firebox and facade renovation and in order to maintain the original facade of the fireplace, per homeowner request, this Regency model gas fireplace insert was installed in coordination with Baker Elman Plumbing the licensed plumbers/gas fitters who masterfully ran and connected the gas lines per MA Gas Code.
